Classroom Instructor Requirements

A Classroom Instructor is licensed to provide Board-required classroom training to security officers, including S.O.S.T. 1101 and S.O.S.T. 1102 and other Board-approved classroom training.

Requirements: You must meet the general qualifications for an LSBPSE instructor and be approved by the Board. No additional specialty instructor certification is required.

Scope: Classroom Instructor authority may be issued as In-House, Outside, or Outside Limited, depending on where and to whom you are approved to provide training.
