Baton Instructor Requirements

A Baton Instructor is licensed to provide Board-approved baton training to security officers.

Additional Certification Required:

In addition to meeting the qualifications required of a Classroom Instructor, a Baton Instructor must hold the applicable Board-recognized law-enforcement baton instructor certification.

Scope: Baton Instructor authority may be issued as In-House, Outside, or Outside Limited, depending on the instructor's approved teaching authority.
